If you are the hydrogen nucleus with an electron moving around you, you will see it moving randomly. However, if you stay long enough you will see that the electron spends more time close to you. This is the time average position of this electron. This position cannot be determine with certainty at any given moment of time but we can determine the likelihood of finding it at a certain time and position. The Dirac equation provides a mathematical understanding of the behavior of this electron.
